Yesterday while grocery shopping, the girls slipped a bag of lemons into the cart. When I irritatedly pointed out that we didn’t need a bag of lemons, they said, “but we want to make a lemonade stand…for Make-A-Wish.”
1…2…3…”Awwww!”
So here we are:

We’ve been at it about an hour and they’ve made $30 already. And really “we” is incorrect; “I” have done very little. One guy tried to give me his $20 to make change and I just glanced up distractedly from my iPhone and said, “she’s got it”, pointing vaguely at Bassie. Nice work if you can get it.

they’re the next spatulatta girls!
The last time I saw a lemonade stand I dropped $10 in hopes to keep those kids dreaming…if it had been for a charity I probably would’ve given more. So what I’m saying is that if B&D Enterprises sets up shop right off campus they might find some students fighting off ‘growing-up’ and willing to pay quite a bit.
