    Execution: 10 pts.
    Creativity: 5 pts.
    Wardrobe:5 pts.

    Execution
Bassie: Her performance was good, but it had sloppy moments, particularly at the very end after her pseudo-break dance finish where she either slips or makes it look like she did- 8

Dina: I thought it was solid and consistent, no complaints on technique whatsoever.- 10

    Creativity
Bassie: This hectic performance was off the hook, she didn’t keep the audience waiting for something new because she didn’t fear changing it up, throwing in that break dance inspired knee spin- 4

Dina: While she was consistent, she was playing it too safe, I wanted more excitement, maybe a head-spin or a random cartwheel- 3

    Wardrobe
Bassie: While her pants may have hindered her performance a little bit, the hip hop spirit was truly present in those baggy pj’s- 5

Dina: The tops and the bottoms would both work but I don’t like the combination for a hip hop throwdown. Really I just think Dina got the short end of the stick; I doubt either of them really planned the wardrobe and Bassie probably just got lucky- 3

    Final Tally
    Bassie: 17
    Dina: 16

Sorry Dina, just remember when you go to a slumber party that you get pj’s that cross over as sweet ghetto threads

    Yikes this a toughy!(I liked Micheal’s format)

    Overall Dancing:10
    Adaptability to song:5
    Crowd Pleasing:5

Bassie: Though the kicks were solid, and the ground spins were solid, the transitions that I needed weren’t there.-7

Dina: The spins and salsa flair were fluent throughout the performance. I liked the how you danced very well on the beat. Almost flawless-9

Bassie: Given such a tough song like Boot’s with the fur, I think you handled it beautifully. Mixing urban hip hop with the class lifestyle that fur boots brings. I would have liked to be able to see the boots more but very well done.- 4

Dina: Bravo! Your ability to pick up on the latin spice in the undertone of the song was brilliant. Your salsa infused hip hop was wonderful.-5

Bassie: Exactly what we were looking for. You took risks, you weren’t afraid to put yourself out there and the crowd at it up, the poses, the break dance, the kicks, perfect. -5

Dina: This was your weakest category. I would have liked to see you put yourself out there and take a risk with your dancing. I didn’t see that tonight.-3

    Totals
    Bassie:16
    Dina:17

    Well done ladies!

Klein, you need to find more mature ways to entertain yourself.

Based on the criteria used at the NDA National Dance Championship (www.nda.varsity.com)Contestant #1 wins. Simply put: Contestant #1 (btw, like the objectivity?) has better footwork and more level changes.

I’m really upset that the rest of the family refused to partake in this judging of the dances- I know Elisa, Mom, and Matthew all have watched and formulated their opinions but are afraid of hurting either of the girls’ feelings… how will they ever get better without constructive criticism? Yeah Mom, you obviously don’t want the girls to become better dancers.
The gauntlet has been thrown down.
