Okay, this’ll be quick, but since you’re probably going to be talking about this all day at the proverbial water cooler anyway; here’s a few things you can bring to the conversation:
* Jon Stewart minded his manners; my feelings on his performance, as he would say; “Eh…not so much.”
* Ryan Phillipe had a big pimple on his forehead (as if watching his wife’s career surpass his by leaps and bounds wasn’t hard enough for him).
* Hearing the “Brokeback” theme played by the big I.P. made me shiver.
* The best part of the show, by far, and if you don’t agree you are wrong: Lilly Tomlin and Meryl Streep ad libbing on Robert Altman. And this from a person who was once almost lynched by a group of 40-somethings for suggesting the Meryl Streep was overrated.
